OUR MISSION
The Lucy Fernandez Foundation, established in honor and loving memory of Luciana Cristina Fernandez, provides scholarships and experiential learning opportunities for students at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, her beloved alma mater. The values of Tradition, Sisterhood, Spirituality, and Service have empowered generations of young women like Lucy. With “Mary in all things,” we continue her legacy of Faith, Kindness, Hope, and Love by equipping students to succeed and serve with purpose.
The Foundation also works to advance boater and watercraft safety through education, awareness, and advocacy. By partnering with private and government agencies—locally and beyond—we are committed to saving lives by making safety, responsibility, and fun a natural part of life on the water. In this way, we honor Lucy’s greatest passion—being on the water—while promoting accountability, reshaping boating culture, and protecting families, friends, and communities for generations to come.
